Getting to Helen Falls Lodge is surprisingly easy for such a remote adventure. Convenient flights from all major cities to Montreal. From there, a seamless connection to Kuujjuaq. Then final a quick, scenic charter flight that lands you right at the lodge. Imagine leaving Montreal at 10 a.m. and casting your line on the famed George River for trophy atlantic salmon by 2 p.m.
Transportation from Montreal to Kuujjuaq If you intend to arrange your own transportation to Kuujjuaq, please let us know by March 31st, as we will proceed with the booking of the balance of customers who use Canadian North’s services and your final invoice of March 31 will reflect this. For Canadian North customers, we will send you your flight reservation in the coming weeks. Make a note of your departure time and your return time since Canadian North’s flight hours changed, as they may require you to sleep near Trudeau Airport. You will then have to make your reservations accordingly.
Transportation from Kuujjuaq to Helen’s Falls . If you arrive by charter flight, please schedule your arrival no later than 10:00 in Kuujjuaq and your return to Montreal from Kuujjuaq not before 16:30 .Upon arrival in Kuujjuaq, you will head up to the Air Inuit charter counter for your connection flight to Helen’s Falls.
As every year, we offer you free of charge the possibility of carrying your booze for you. We do not provide alcoholic beverages so if you wish to bring the booze in a quantity that is not transportable in your luggage, we can ensure the transport in our cargo boat whose departure is scheduled for June. You must therefore send us your booze before May 20 at:

We do not provide on-site fishing licences, so make sure you have your Quebec Atlantic salmon license with or without release depending on your preference and your Quebec regular fishing license, otherwise you will not be able to fish. That would be regretful at the least.

The use of the helicopter is part of the price of your basic package. This represents 6 flight hours divided by eight guests. The chopper holds between 4 and 5 people at a time. If you exceed the flight time no problem we can extend your chopper flight time at a rate of $4500 per hour. We encourage you to use it to make the most of your stay to explore the surroundings and its wildlife and nature and its many majestic parks as well as to have access to char fishing. We maintain the helicopter on site to ensure your safety as well as a transportation recovery mode in the event that Air Inuit cannot provide transportation for the benefit of all.
Every year the question of tips is asked of us. In order to facilitate everything, here is what we recommend per group of 8 fishermen to be divided between the members of the group according to your satisfaction and/ or special requests: between $ 9,000 and
$11,000 according to your satisfaction. We will make the distribution among the staff members
For those who wish to bring back fish, we pack it for you in airline approved cardboard boxes that will keep it fresh for about 6 + hours.
