Salmon Fishing – Schedule 2023
from July 20th to September 9th 2023
Arctic Adventurer
In order to diversify our activities and open for discovery the magnificent territory of the far north of Quebec to nature and adventure enthusiasts, Helen Falls Lodge is now offering you the arctic adventurer package. This package was designed in partnership with Golden Peninsula Tours whose team expertise and knowledge of the far northeastern territory of Quebec and the Labarador coast is second to none. This package is for helicopter owners who are passionate about nature and adventure and want to discover the wonders of the far north of Quebec, otherwise inaccessible if only through the expert and safe services we offer you. A very varied set of excursions, combining trekking, mountain biking, guided outings with your aircraft among the most extraordinary sites of the far north of Quebec will be offered to you and will blow your mind!
Are you ready to take this unforgettable adventure of a lifetime …? Here is the detail of your adventure:
Our salmon and arctic adventure package primarily includes an Atlantic salmon fishing experience that is one of the top 3 in the world. The power of the Georges River, the sheer size of the catch, and the aggressiveness of its salmon to attack flies are unlike any other southern river experience. Salmons congregate in our exclusive fishing section which stretches over 4 km by tens of thousands and stay there longer than anywhere else in the river given the immense rapids that slow down its upstream migration. We have a multitude of pools that form and change as the water rises and falls. So there are never bad fishing conditions and the salmon are always takers …! You will not run out of attacks but will you be able to convert them into success …? This is the challenge that Helen Falls offers!
In your package you also have one hour of helicopter flight that you will combine in a group of at least 4 people, so a minimum of 4 hours of flight in your stay that you can convert as you wish and subject to weather conditions, in safari through the majestic Torngat Park or fishing for the huge arctic char or brook trout which abound not far from our camp. The thrills and memories of a lifetime are guaranteed during these outings where you will be able to observe polar bears, musk oxen, not to mention these unforgettable landscapes in the hollow of the valleys bordered by majestic mountains that you will cross.

Le Canada offre une qualité de pêche au saumon atlantique égale à celle de la Russie dans la baie d’Ungava au Québec, là où des rivières telles que la George offrent solitude, nature vierge et pêche au saumon phénoménale.
